One of the things that has made this injury so challenging, is that I'll have a day or two of feeling better (not needing ibuprofen), and then I have traction. When it was the straight traction (think of it along the lines of a padded massage table that works like a rack in that it separates and stretches the body), it wasn't so bad the next day. Yesterday, however, he did some stretching and manipulations that I was all too aware of this morning.
I am happy to report that the feeling in my toes has improved. I'm standing up straighter. Still need to rest and get tired easy, but I'm aware of the progress. Now, I just need to make sure that I don't sneeze or cough.
